Richmond University Medical Center  – Endoscopy Procedure Rooms

Significant Features:

  • 12,000 S.F. renovations to create six (6) endoscopy procedure rooms
  • Complex renovation that encompassed three (3) periods of hospital construction (1960/1970/1990)
  • Full compliance of construction ratings, Type 1 EES, and sprinkler and fire alarm systems
  • New 14-cubicle pre- and post-recovery unit created to function for emergency department overflow
  • New waiting room created to support new endoscopy program and enhance hospital’s existing main lobby
  • New doctors’ locker/lounge and major equipment storage created
  • Significant portion of project was relocation of pediatric clinic, ob/gyn clinic and relocation of  existing P.S.T.
